Westview Pom is celebrating Bianca Willhite on her “effort” at practice. From tryout clinic days, to summer practices, to our first week of official practice, Bianca has given her all. She has improved tremendously and always takes critique well. Her positive attitude has allowed her to brush up on her technique and memory of chants.
This year all of our sports are participating in a Character program during our season. This is the first week of full practice for most of our sport and we are able to recognize 4 student athletes as they were recognized as exemplifying what effort looks like on their teams! The Knights will travel to Millennium High School on Wednesday August 15th, to scrimmage the Millennium Tigers. The scrimmage will begin at 7:00pm. There were 54 girls try out for freshman, junior varsity and varsity volleyball. Congrats to the 36 girls who make up the volleyball program.
Next Monday and Tuesday are clinics for tryouts in the Cafe from 2:30 to 4:30pm. Wednesday will be the day you tryout for the team in the cafe starting at 2:30pm. Please make sure you wear appropriate clothing to tryouts (t-shirt and shorts that follow dress code).
