This Friday the Knights head into their first playoff game of the season at home against Westwood High School. The Knights play this season has been nothing short of great with a 17-8 record. The guy leading the way for the Knights, is star guard D’maurian Williams in his last season with Knights, he is looking to make it a memorable one.

Going into this game Westview will be going up against the subpar Westwood basketball team who is currently standing with a 15-11 record. While this is an above average record, Westwoods last game didn’t quite go as planned as they took a 57-46 loss against Skyline High School. The last time Westwood faced the Knights they came out on top in a 69-44 win! Westwood going into this game with revenge on their minds. Along with the lasting memory of D’maurian Williams magnificent 30 point onslaught shooting 50% from the field and also, grabbing 4 rebounds.

The first playoff game is very important as it sets the momentum and energy Westview will be bringing with them into their playoff run. The players are looking to go out there and give it their all. The seniors will be leaving their lasting mark on this school and their high school basketball careers. Now Westview will be looking to come out as they did in the last meeting with this Westwood squad.
